CATECHISM CONVOCATION

The Third Article of the Apostles' Creed: A Catechism Convocation for the People will take place on Saturday, April 22, 8:30 am-3:00 pm at Concordia University, Irvine.  Presenters of the theme "The Word of Truth vs. The Word of Falisty" include Rev. Dr.  Alfonso Espinosa,     Rev. Bruce von Hindenburg and Rev. Samuel Schuldheisz.  Following lunch, Rev. Robert Dargatz and Professor Steve Parks will join Prs. MAKING SENSE OF A PLURALISTIC WORLD 

Resurrection Lutheran, Quartz Hill is hosting a continuing education seminar, Making Sense of a Pluralistic World: A Tour of Worldviews in America taught by Dr. Adam Francisco. The seminar is scheduled for July 24-26. Course Description: "A worldview is a network of our most basic beliefs about the world and life within it. Observing and analyzing the dominant motifs of the most pervasive worldviews in America not only help Christians make sense of why people think and act as they do, but also provides some of the necessary equipment for interaction with those who do not share basic Christian convictions and beliefs."
