Children

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” - Matthew 19:14

Relax! We know that kids wiggle and cry. Expect a smile of encouragement and camaraderie from all of the grandmas and grandpas who have been in your shoes.

We encourage families with children to sit toward the front of the church where little ones can see and hear what is going on.

Quietly explain the parts of the service, the actions of the pastor, ushers, acolytes, etc. Sing the hymns, pray, and voice the reponses. Children learn liturgical behavior by copying you.

If you have to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so - but please come back. We have a cry room in the Women's Restroom with a changing table and a rocking chair.

Following the service, we have fellowship time with snacks and juice.  Then, join us for Sunday School.  All ages are welcome.  The older children usually help with the younger ones as we read stories, sing songs, do crafts, and learn all about how Jesus loves us.
